Live Rig

Mouse over for details:

Signal chain:

Fender Deluxe Strat Plus output runs to the Vox 847A Wah, Boss CS-3 Compressor, Voodoo Lab Micro-Vibe, Soundblox Classic Distortion, and Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, to the Digitech TSR 24s (controlled by the Digitech FS300 footswitch) and out (mono) to the reverb channel of the Music Man HD-130, run through the Peavey M412 cabinet (with 4 Celestion G12-85's), close mic'ed by a Shure SM57.

Roland GK-2A synth pickup runs to the Roland GR-20 guitar synth, and out (mono) directly to the mixer.

L.R. Baggs X-Bridge is run into the guitar input on the GK-3, from the guitar out on the GR-20 to the Alesis Nanoverb, to the dry channel of the Music Man HD-130.

Floor effects are mounted on a Pedaltrain PT-1 pedal board and powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus power supply.

Studio

Given the space constraints in the Flat, the current configuration of the studio and live rig is essentially a single unit, so any distinction between these two sections is entirely arbitrary.

From left: Computer (custom built dual drive / dual boot); Live rack - from top: Mackie 1604VLZ mixer, Alesis 3630 compressor, JL Cooper MSB+ rev2 midi patch bay, Digitech Studio 400 effects processor, Johnson J-Station, Furman PM-8 power conditioner (2); Studio rack - from top: Samsung monitor, CBI surge suppressor, Tascam DA-30 DAT recorder, QSC USA 850 power amp, Alesis RA-100 power amp.
