Today, more of the same. The rain held off long enough to get the
back yard mowed. Out to dinner later, and a walk around the Mall,
waiting on the evening cloudburst to subside.
Tomorrow - pick up the trailer, and begin loading up, in hopes
of an early departure Thursday.

As predicted, much of the day was spent in the basement, stowing
the Bunker for transport. I doubt much will go on this trip, but
having it packed and ready is a project of sufficient magnitude
that it needs to be addressed early on.
Chicken casserole for dinner, working the leftovers. A/C installed
in the bedroom, after one too many sweaty and restless nights. It
will likely freeze up, but the attempt has been made.

Sunday, 5.13.12

A full day in the kitchen, in more ways than usual. Smoked salmon
and goat cheese omelets for breakfast, a store run later, then packing
began in earnest. Five boxes worth of miscellaneous cookery, mostly
dishes, are prepared for the first haul later this week.
An early walk, a nod to the threat of rain this evening which has
yet to come, before returning to cookery. Porterhouse steak with
goat cheese mashed potatoes and asparagus, enjoyed outside. A quiet
evening afterward. Tomorrow, the real fun, as I begin dismantling
the Bunker.
